Jonathan Adler Dachshund Book Ends $150
Ahhh! Upon surfing Revolve Clothing’s website this morning, I came across Jonathan Adler’s new decor collection. I thought it may look interesting, but things got REALLY interesting when I spotted this doxie bookend set! The sheer fact that it’s pink makes me wanna buy it (ok, besides the obvious—that I’m obsessed with weenie dawgs…)! But the price tag? Eek, I’m suffering from sticker shock just a lil’ bit.
Anyhoo. Did I ever tell you all about another one of my obsessions? Globes! I love maps, globes—especially the real ones (which reminds me I need to get one sometime)—and I think they make really great decorative items. I love to play on Google Maps and just zoom in on random things and play around on Street View as the little Google (wo)man and pretend like I’m walking around New York City. I’m pretty decent at reading maps too, and I always remember how I would sit and stare at them when I was little. I would spin this old metal globe we had at home and close my eyes and wherever my index finger “landed” was where I would live one day. haha. This is also coming from the girl who read the dictionary as a youngster. Yes, I would actually sit and look through the dictionary and try to learn all different kinds of words. Ah, geekdom. Anyways, this pillow is awesome!
