Big Announcement!
I have been bursting to tell everyone here on ye ole blog my super awesome news that I received a little over a week ago! Yours truly is a Contributing Writer for an online fashion magazine! Eeeeek!!!!
I have not yet published my first post on the website, but be sure to visit Fashion Wrap Up! This amazing website features fashion, beauty, and celebrities in two formats: monthly magazine and daily posts. I will be contributing to both! I am so excited to be stepping into a field that interests me greatly—fashion and writing! For my entire life, I have always been passionate about fashion, clothing, beauty, accessories, and the creative or fine arts—writing, painting, dancing, etc. I feel that I am getting back “in touch with my roots” because I have analyzed what I was interested in as a child. I think about what really drives me and makes me mesmerized, bursting with energy, and tickles me pink. These things—creative endeavors—drive me and always have. I have experienced a bit of enlightenment over the last year and half or so, and it’s been amazing and difficult at times. It may not seem like it to outsiders, but it is a big step for me to let the world know (so to speak) that I am wanting to take a new & more passionate step in my life! Fashion, writing—it’s the industry I want to be in, and I can feel it with all my heart.
I still work my day job, of course, in a completely different field, and I’m very grateful for the opportunities and experiences I’ve gained from it. I want to see where my new ventures take me, and I couldn’t be more excited to be along for the ride.
