Rory McIlroy wins US Open 2011!
I know this news is a few days behind, but I meant to post this on Monday. As of late, I have become a golf fan! Can you believe it?! Me a golf fan! It happened back during the Master’s in April when Charl Schwartzel won.
That day, my dad and I were sitting there together in the living room and I had just woken up from a nap. He was watching golf and I started asking him questions about it. His answers piqued my interest and I kept asking more questions. He basically ended up explaining the game to me, as best as he could since he isn’t a big golfer himself, and I was a fan! After all these years of flipping through the channels and seeing golfers on TV and saying aloud, “Golf is soooooo boring!!!” haha. Now I’m a fan.
Anyways, I think it’s awesome that 22-year-old (he just turned 22 last month!) Rory McIlroy is a golf prodigy. Amazing!
